In business and in sport there is always a benefit when teams perform more optimally, interventions such as this are often initiated when a leader of a team recognises that his or her team is not performing to their potential. However the most effective team coaching interventions are when a team IS performing well, and the leader of that team is looking to get even more performance and success from his or her team.

Two important values you try and quantify are technical ability and attitude.
Mankind has design fancy tests for quantifying a mans technical ability (iq test etc), however, no test can quantify a mans attitude. One fact remains, it is better to have greater positive attitude than a greater technical ability.
Technical ability without positive attitude is like a Ferrari without wheels. It sounds good in the garage but it can’t go.

When Coaching or Team Coaching is not the best fit , we run trainings to meet the needs of teams. We draw on extensive training and NLP backgrounds to deliver high quality offerings.

Recently Coaching Unity collaborated with Paddy Upton and Dale Williams of Performance Zone to create a 3 day Training Programme, Coaching Skills for Coaches, to develop the 'mental coaching' ability of sports coaches. Sports Coaches are usually very strong on teaching technique to their players, however their ability to develop their players mentally has often been neglected in training courses.

How to identify and relate to some of the diverse thinking styles of players
How the Zoning Pyramid works and how it applies to teams
An introduction to a Coaching model that creates guidelines on how to have great conversations
